Week 2 Research Article


When I read about Weblog enhancing EFL students’ English language learning by Usa Noytim (2009). I learned about the value of weblog on English language learning in the context of a university in Thailand.

There are three types of tools in research article. They are a short questionnaires, interview questionnaires  and student blog.
🔘 Shorts questionnaire response were qualitatively analysed.
🔘 Interview questionnaire response were code in accordance with content analysis and identified to find major issues.
🔘 Student Blogs response were qualitatively knowledge and experience.
       
However, There are 3 type of Weblog used in the language classroom : the tutor Blog, the learner Blog, and the class Blog. The study found that there are many reasons why blogging is useful for students such as....
👉Weblog as a tool for the provide opportunities for real communication in an authentic learning environment
👉Weblog enhance reading and writing 
👉Weblog raises an awareness of having an authorship and a readership.
👉The class Blog encourages learner to image, create, post messages and also add comments to other people’s blog to improve thinking, gave some suggestions and advice.
👉Weblog enhance reading comprehension, improve students’ writing skills.  
👉Weblog developed student analytical and critical thinking skills, and built good relationships.

In addition, Blogging is popular because it free easy to use, tailored and frequently updated. Weblog also increased motivation for and look attractive. So, They had opportunities to create, express their ideas, record their memories and experiences by themselves, and confidence in writing and English.
