Multimedia is the use of computers to present text, graphics, video, animation, and sound in an integrated way.



Multimedia is composed of various components: test, graphics, animation, sound, and video.
  •      Text. It is fundamental element in all multimedia applications. It conveys most information.

  •     Graphics. It refers to images and pictures, such as chart, diagram, and photograph. 

  •      Animation. it is the rapid display of a sequence of images of 2-D or 3-D artwork or model positions in order to create an illusion of movements.

  •       Sound. It is speech, music, or any other sound that is stored and produced by computers.

  •      Video. It is the visible part of a television transmission and broadcasts visual images of stationary or moving objects.








 Advantage
1 Arousing the student’s interest.
2 Cultivating student’s communication skills.
3 Taking initiative at learning and develop their own self- learning good habits gradually.
4 To use multimedia can achieve the desired result and find unlimited resources in textbooks.

5 Increasing classroom capacity.
Problem
Confusion  Some teacher have directly brought a CD-ROM course ware for their lesson. It may be ignoring the role of teachers
Performance on behalf of the lead.Students only pay attention to appreciating the pictures , and do not pay attention to what they should really master in the classroom
Lake of special skill.
Over use of multimedia
Lake of interaction between teachers and students

When I read about Weblog enhancing EFL students’ English language learning by Usa Noytim (2009). I learned about   the value of weblog on English language learning in the context of a university in Thailand. There are three types of tools in research article. They are a short questionnaires, interview questionnaires  and student blog. 🔘 S horts questionnair e response were qualitatively analysed. 🔘 I nterview questionnaire response were code in accordance with content analysis and identified to find major issues. 🔘 Student Blogs response were qualitatively knowledge and experience.         However, There are 3 type of Weblog used in the language classroom : the tutor Blog, the learner Blog, and the class Blog. The study found that there are many reasons why blogging is useful for students such as.... 👉Weblog as a tool for the provide opportunities for real communication in an authentic learning environment

            Today  I learned a lot of new thing from captivate 8 program containing  how to create a text box, how to make multiple choice and true-false question slides. How to create a text box First, press the word "Text" and "Text Caption"  Second, type in the text.                                                       After that, select the " Style  "  on the left. If you want to decorate, you can choose the  " Character  ".                                                    Then, you need to select the " Timing " >  " Disply for "  and    have to defined  rest of slide .                                                   In addition, I learned about how to make multiple choice and true-false question slides in captivate 8 include: How to make multiple choice question slides             First, insert the multiple choice question slide ( Quiz > Question Slide > Multiple Choice ).
